RTM lamination method
RTM technology is an advanced lamination method. Using a vacuum, the resin is forced between the two halves of a closed mould, which is pre-sprayed with gelcoat and a glass mat is inserted into it.
Various metal, wood, plastic, foam or other elements can also be inserted into the mould to serve as reinforcement, levelling, fixing, etc. and for de-moulding.
Another great advantage is the double-sided smoothness of the product, which can be viewed from both sides.
The method is suitable for series and high-volume production.
Why fibreglass laminat?
IT IS LIGHTWEIGHT – approximately 4 times lighter than steel with high strength and durability. This brings advantages in application, manufacturing, transport, assembly ….
IT IS FORMABLE – using a negative or positive mould, virtually any part can be manufactured to suit functional and design requirements
IS ROBUST – it has high tensile strength, is electrically and thermally insulating. It can withstand aggressive environments such as heat, cold, sunlight, aggressive environments in indoor and outdoor use.
