History

Beginning of processing of plastics and laminates within the company BENTEX s.r.o. in Benešov nad Černou. These were products for the construction industry – parts of sewerage systems.

Relocation of production to Borovany near České Budějovice to new leased premises.

The company BENTEX s.r.o. was divided into three separate companies copying its three production divisions. The plastics division was taken over by Ing. Karel Mach as a newly established company BENTEX-Plast s.r.o.

Beginning of cooperation with POLYGLAS Decker – polypropylene shaft bottoms – representation for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Moving production to its own premises purchased in Borovany, U Stropnice 248 and its building modifications.

Sale of a 50% stake – the entry of the investor TRANSINVEST AG enabled the investment in technology for the production of all-plastic polypropylene shaft bottom liners.

Start of the production of full plastic parts from PP by the method of drawing in vacuum, machining on a 3-axis CNC milling machine. Taking over production from POLYGLAS Decker – laminate machine covers and bus body parts.

Obtaining a certificate of compliance with the Austrian standard 22504 for plastic liners. Development of a new product – part of the ramp for the conversion of the VW Caddy car for the disabled with API CZ s.r.o. Production by vacuum lamination technology (RTM). Increase in turnover by 75%.

Obtaining a certificate for plastic liners for Germany. Purchase of new technology for machine production of laminates by spraying.

Increase in the shareholding of TRANSINVEST AG to 74%. Development and production of other types of floors for the conversion of cars for disabled people. Acquisition of a Sahos 5-axis CNC milling centre for milling models and moulds and machining plastic and laminate parts. Acquisition of a VOC reduction combustion unit and a heat recovery and storage unit.

Reconstruction of company buildings. Installation of a solar power plant on the roofs of the buildings. Innovation of the plastic shaft bottoms using weldable polyethylene – portfolio expansion and supply to new customers. Production of new moulds – expanding the portfolio of PP and PE shaft bottoms.

Start of production of laminate roofing for wastewater treatment plants for a new customer ENVI-PUR, s.r.o.

Modernisation of grinding rooms – purchase of new Donaldson extraction and filtration units.
